We can see the lane and the road to the village centre from the pottery windows.
It's quiet most of the time but a dog needs to know what's going at every moment.
Those pots are in Budleigh's way.

The other window gives a clearer view of the little station, the cars and the passers-by.

Satisfied that all is well, Budleigh is weighing up his chances of throwing a pot. Surely four paws would be even better than two hands?

Perhaps not. Besides, there is more to see from the pottery door - wasn't that Oakley going past? Or Sherman? Or that new St Bernard which moved here a couple of months ago?
There's work to be done. On guard!
