Having fun with macro

I am having a little fun with a microscope. The aim is to make sure that my bees have no horrid disease, or other ailments. In the meantime I am playing taking photographs with my ordinary camera, shooting down the lens of the microscope.

The head of a fly.

1 cm wild strawberry.

This evening in the garden

Today has been yet another day of gorgeous sunshine and heat. Yesterday I fired one of my kilns, today it is the cooling period. This means the door of the kiln is opened a little to let the heat out of the kiln.

All of this is fine in the winter months, however that is not the case in July.

This is how I occupied myself in the late afternoon.

It is now 10.00 pm and still 26°c.
